Recently companies have began to take the visual turn by creating Instagram pages to further advertise their products. Along with companies and the casual users, celebrities may be the most important piece to the social networking puzzle. Lady Gaga has a grand total of 34.5 million twitter followers. Rihanna has over 60 million Facebook friends. With the power to gain followers from all over the country in whatever form that they gained their fame in, celebrities have become a spoke in the social media wheel.
